A staff report notes that voters in New York state will be asked to consider six proposed amendments to the state constitution on the Nov. 5 ballot this year. Two of the amendments include the settling of competing claims of title between the state and private parties to land located in the forest preserve in the town of Long Lake and the forest preserve land exchange between the state and NYCO Minerals, Inc.
